Ed Wright is currently the elected Constable for Dallas County Precinct 4. He was elected on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, and assumed office on January 1, 2019 for a 4 year term. Constable Wright is up for Re-Election in 2022 and is asking for your vote and support in the Democratic Primary that will be held on March 1, 2022. Early voting starts February 14, 2022.
Under Texas Law, your application must be received in the Voter Registrar’s office or postmarked at least 30 days before an election for you to be eligible to vote in that election.

Constable Edward Wright has worked in law enforcement for over 33 years. He worked for the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department prior to his election as the Constable of Precinct 4. Constable Wright has the experience and knowledge of both criminal and civil law to be an effective and compassionate leader.
ConstableWright law enforcement career started with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department in 1989, where he started out as a detention office.
After attending and graduating from the police academy, he worked in various fields allowing him to gain the wealth of knowledge he possesses. He holds several certifications, and has won numerous civic and professional awards for his service to the community.
